Wondering when you might be expecting to release the new version?

Welcome, Adam! That's a hard one to answer. The reason is pretty simple: the number of variables involved to get reliable timings is quite high. I just talked with Alessandro and an estimated release date should be likely in March/April (taking into account also the beta testing phase).

By the way: I like the internal policy that Kerbal Space Programs developers adopt because it's straightforward and the focus is always on the quality of the final product. In few words: "The next version will be released when it is ready."... their words, but I don't disagree.

ROFLMAO!!  "The next version will be released when it is ready.". My mother always used to say something similar about dinner, and it was always ready when it was ready. We never starved or went without. We just trusted she knew what she was doing and had our best interests at heart. Cook on guys!!

Thanks, Sketco! You got that right. Some updates for the most hungry: Alessandro is continuously working on the main software to fix the last details and to get the things ready. I'm working on the data parser to improve reliability and to enhance the formalism of every signal in the DB. We already have a complete and working version of Artemis 3 so after a few more details we will start the beta testing phase that should take no more than 1/2 weeks. I'll let you know as soon as possible. Oh yes! A little taste (running under linux) in the link below...

Stay tuned!
