Just downloaded v3 for Mac. When trying to download the database it crashes after about 2 or 3 seconds.

Note: I was able to download v3 on windows with no issues so far.

Hi KN4CFI, thanks for the bug report! During the beta tests, we tried several macOS without problems but it seems that you found a common bug for the packed version: another user signaled the issue on gihub ( https://github.com/AresValley/Artemis/issues/6 ) and proposed to use the version on GitHub. Commonly the unpacked version is less user-friendly during the deploying (setup) but it always works!

Thanks again! We will for sure work on it!

I can confirm that it does not work on MacOS as well. Specifically, it crashes when it tries to download database. Please do consider fixing the binary package. Thanks!

Ok! MarcoB detected the possible issue: probably the problem arises from the lack of the SSL certificate. I just finished uploading the fixed version 3.0.1. Let us know if the fix works and then we will update also the GitHub repo!

Looks like that did it! I've installed the 3.0.1 version and successfully downloaded the database. Artemis seems to be working great now! I'm saying  "seems: as I just managed to use it for the first time 🙂 Thank you!

Hi, is there a v3.0.1 for Linux? I'm having the same issue.

@sillystix

Yes. Right now is only available on GitHub but we are collecting every fix to patch all issues in one shot. Thanks for the patience. The compiled new version 3.0.1 will be available in few days on the main Artemis webpage

UPDATE: Artemis 3.0.1 is now available!
